At Chipotle it is important for us to provide a comfortable environment for the customers to enjoy their food. By laying out the food you can see what you are getting and have it prepared exactly the way you want it.
Chipotle has the nations first ever Platinum LEED certified restaurant and we are just getting started. In our coming restaurants such as the ones in Gurnee, Illinois and Minnetonka, Minnesota we want to optimize the energy performance of the buildings, use more recycled material, reduce our water use by 30%, and enact many other green and sustainable ideas. We’re working closely with farmers and ranchers to ensure their operations create as small an impact as possible on the environment along with the Chipotle restaurants.
